Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Aster Strike app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Milaan (collectively, the "Application"). Milaan is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
- Your device's Internet Protocol address
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
- The time spent on the Application
- your mobile operating system you use
Online accounts, friends and co-op
Opening Friends creates an online account through Firebase Authentication, using a Google Play Games player ID when available or an anonymous account otherwise. We process account identifiers and authentication tokens to sign you in and secure requests. Anonymous accounts are not automatically linked to Play Games and may become inaccessible after reinstalling the app.
We store your display name, selected built-in avatar, friend code, private deletion key, ship and skin IDs, weapon upgrade levels, profile revisions and activity timestamps. We also store friend requests, friendships, blocks, name reports, assist reward records and counters used to prevent duplicate rewards and abuse. These records are processed using Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions for Firebase to provide and protect social features.
Players who enter your friend code or exchange invitations can see your display name, avatar and player identifier. Accepted friends can also receive your ship and weapon snapshot for AI-controlled assistance. Co-op uses asynchronous snapshots rather than a live multiplayer session. We do not upload your address book, voice recordings or personal photos for this feature. Keep your deletion key private; it is not part of your shared profile.
In-app purchases
Google Play processes payments. Our verification service processes purchase tokens, product and order identifiers, installation and account identifiers, transaction times, purchase status and refund or revocation information to grant or restore purchases and prevent fraud. We do not receive your payment card details. Purchase verification records are separate from the social account and may be retained for fraud prevention, refunds and legal obligations after social account deletion.
Advertising, analytics and diagnostics
AdMob may collect and share IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, advertising or other device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics process gameplay events, device and app information, crash reports and diagnostics when usage sharing is enabled. Gameplay events may include the number of friend assists, but we do not attach social account identifiers to analytics or crash reports.
You can turn off Share usage data in Settings to disable our Firebase analytics and crash collection. This control does not disable the data processing needed for ads, purchases or online friends. Advertising choices are managed through the available consent options and your device advertising settings.
Deleting your online account
In the game, open Settings, then Online account, then Delete account. A successful request deletes the online account immediately. You can also request deletion without reinstalling the game at:
The web form asks for your friend code, an optional private deletion key, and optional contact email and note. Web requests wait 30 days before deletion, including requests with a valid deletion key. You can cancel a pending request from Friends in the game. We process the submitted information and IP-based rate limits to handle requests and prevent abuse. Deletion request records, including any contact email, are removed after 90 days following processing.
Deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account, profile, friend code, private deletion key, friendships, invitations, your reward inbox and associated social counters, and clears the local social cache and tokens when deletion is completed in the app. Online account and social records are retained while the account exists and are subject to this deletion process rather than the general User Provided Data period below.
Deletion does not erase local game progress, Google Play Games cloud saves, purchase verification records or independent advertising and diagnostic data. Manage local data through your device and cloud saves through Play Games. Rewards already granted to others remain; their sender field is replaced, but record identifiers may retain the former account identifier. Other players may retain that identifier in their block lists for safety. Analytics and crash records follow the relevant service retention settings and are not linked by us to the social account.
Local storage
The app stores authentication tokens, cached friend profiles, selected allies and pending rewards on your device so that it can reconnect and provide offline assistance. Cached snapshots can remain on a friend’s device until refreshed. Removing the app does not delete server-side account data; use the account deletion options above.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at [email protected].
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Service Provider may use the information you provide to send important information, required notices, and, where permitted by law, marketing communications.
For a better experience while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information the Service Provider requests will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.
Third Party Access
We process identifiable account and transaction data as described in this policy, not only aggregated or anonymized information. Google and Firebase process data on our behalf to authenticate accounts, host social records, verify purchases and operate services. Selected profile and ship information is disclosed to other players as explained above. Advertising providers may also collect and share data as described in the advertising section.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information the Service Provider discloses to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling will stop the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.

Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
- User Provided Data: Retained for the duration of your use of the Application plus 12 months thereafter, unless longer retention is required by law
- Automatically Collected Data: Retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you
- Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it. If you want the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data submitted through the Application, please contact them at [email protected]. Please note that some User Provided Data may be required for the Application to function properly.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 years of age in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider ([email protected]) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
